Awesome Sound :)

Generation Y is harder to define, but not to rationalize. The only reason for that is that we are still in the middle of this futurist, high tech, over complicated period. Therefore, we're still learning still doing research. (By the way, whenever I say, "we," I mean us Generation Y'ers. Me and my friends have spent long hours thinking through all this lingo and information.)

HYPER CRUSH rocks my world.... dude there beats are fuckn sweet. The chick is hot. And the hook just makes you bounce and the girls shake. We give them a A+ in our musical gradebook. Journalismkidd the voice for the underground bitches :P check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QB0pFM80VdU

Southern Comfort: Call Me Sir

Southern Comfort Like No Other. The Name of this crazy sick band is "Call Me Sir". It's three young guys from Nashville with a country swagga and a screamo attitude. They love Jesus and love music. There lyrics are deep and beats are sick. This young guys are emerging talent. Give em a chance they'll grow on you.
We give them a C+ in our musical gradebook. Show the boys some love @ they're Myspace or PureVolume Pages. http://www.purevolume.com/callmesir

Up and Coming Artist of 2009

Generation Y is harder to define, but not to rationalize.
UP and COMING Artist of 2009
Breakout Musical Artist to watchout for in 2009... There going to HUGE. I promise.

Cash Cash "A Party in Your Bedroom" There a really good band with an intense electropop feel. Love these dudes. Their from New jeresey and have that underground small dirty club look with a sophisticated sound. They sound like Cobra Starship and Metro Station. I can't wait to her more from these boys. The band consists of Jean Paul Makhlouf (vocals, guitar), Alex Makhlouf (keyboards, programming), Samuel Frisch (vocals, bass), and Anthony Villacari (drums, percussion).

We give them an A- in our musical grade book.

Next Breakout Musical Artist: Sam Sparro with "Black and Gold". Australian-born vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Sam Sparro shot to fame in the United Kingdom with the release of his 2008 debut single, "Black and Gold." His musical style is a blend of R&B, Contempary Soul with up tempo techno dance beats. Sparro is the next big thing. He has deep lyrics and is pushing the envelope. Cant wait to see more of this breakout musical artist in 2009. We give Sam Sparro a B in our musical gradebook.

Lady Gaga is the best thing to happen to Pop Music since Britney Spears. She excudes confidence and a fierceness that nobody has. She has a unique Harijuku/L.E.S. Girl style and a her music displays that diversity from the piercing hip hop beats in Paper Gangster to the bumping techno sound in "Poker face". Her Single that put her on the Charts was Just dance. She's Yummy. Cherry Cherry Boom Boom. We give this amazing Up and Coming Musical Artist a A+ in our musical gradebook. Keep it up Gaga

This girl has swagga. Its Teyana Taylor. She is from Brooklyn and a breakthrough artist. She is a great dancer and an up and comer in the hip hop community. She's part Lil Mama, part Beyonce, and a piece of Ciara. With noticeable style and flair, the “Teenage President” is becoming the walking “paper doll” for urban fashionistas across the globe. If you’re not sold on the Harlem native’s single “Google Me” find her on the side of megastar Pharrell Williams, in Jay Z’s “Blue Magic” video, or on MTV’s My Super Sweet 16. Her beats are sick. I cannot wait to see her in 2009. We give Teyana Taylor a B-. See you in 2009.

Our Last Artist destined to emerge in 2009 is Bronx based rock glamour band Semi Precious Weapons "Magnetic Baby". There clanging and banging is hot. And the raspy voice of androgonous lead singer Justin is infectious. The band consists of Justin Tranter on vocals, Aaron Lee Tasjan on guitar, Cole Whittle on bass and Dan Crean on drums. As of November 2008, Stevy Pyne on guitar. Love these crazy bitches. Keep it up in 2009. We give this band a A- in our musical gradebook.
